ABOUT

Our history

NOC started life in 1987 as North Oxon Couriers. In those days, moving artwork for design companies and printers was a big part of our business, and lots of the consignments that we carried would fit into motorcycle panniers or into small cars. As digital artwork replaced art board, Letraset and glue, our business changed. Over the years, the consignments that we were trusted with grew in size. as did the size of the vehicles in our fleet.

We now run a comprehensive range of vehicles including motorcycles, cars, small vans, panel vans, 7.5 tonne trucks, 18 tonne trucks and artics from our premises in Banbury, North Oxfordshire. This means that we can deal with consignments ranging from a single envelope to 26 pallets – up to 24.5 tonnes. Most of our customers now just know us as NOC.

In addition to our own fleet, we have partnered with other trusted courier businesses across the UK, allowing us to organise collections from anywhere in the country. In fact, it’s just as easy for us to organise a collection from Inverness as it is from Banbury.

Goods are transported to their destination using one vehicle and one driver. It’s the safest way to move a consignment. Compare this to an overnight parcel and pallet delivery service which would involve a local collection, delivery to a local depot, delivery to a national hub, delivery to the destination local depot and then delivery to the destination – each leg undertaken by a different driver and different vehicle. That’s a lot of loading an unloading, with a much higher chance of accidental damage.

All our drivers are fully trained, experienced, dedicated professionals, some of whom have been driving for us for over 20 years.

Our experience and dedication to customer satisfaction is what sets our business apart. We are a hard-working local and national business taking pride in providing the best possible service to our customers. Give us a call or drop us a line to discuss what we can do for you and your business.
